I've been interested in digital graphics for the past couple of years,
starting with a Limited Edition of Photoshop, and since then Adobe
has been a company I've stuck to. In 1999 I got a copy of Bryce 4D
and discovered the world of 3D. Even though Bryce is considered a
toy by many, for me it was fantastic (and still is, in many ways --
displacement modeling in Bryce is amazing). After some time I realised
that Bryce had serieous limitations especially when it comes to modeling,
so via a trial of Cinema 4D XL on the cover of MacFormat I stumbled
into the realm of vertices, polygons, quads and flipped normals. Cinema
4D has been my primary 3D software ever since.
I don't consider myself a highly experienced artist (if artist is
the correct term). It is a hobby and will probably stay that way.
It would be nice to develop some sort of semi-professional business
aimed at graphics, but since I don't have the time or money to do
so, CartesiusCreations.com will have to do.
